10:30AM (Sharp) Walking Starts from Corner of 179th Street and Fort Washington
  1. Walk to and Turn South on Broadway, and Walk to 168 th Street
  2. Turn Left on 168 th and Walk to and Turn Right on Audubon Ave
  3. Walk on Audubon to Ramona Elizabeth Rodriguez Way
  4. Stop for a Moment of Silence for Ramona Elizabeth Rodriguez
  5. Resume walking on Audubon to 166 th Street and Turn Right on 166 th to Broadway
  6. Walk across Broadway and Turn Left on Broadway and Walk to 155 th Street
  7. Brief Stop on Broadway and 155 th St. to Regroup in front of Boricua College
    (From 179 th Street Approx. 1.5 mile to 155 th Street)
  8. Resume Walking by Turning Left/East at 155 th Street and walk to 153 rd Street
    (0.8 miles)
  9. Brief Stop to Regroup in the Charles Young Triangle Park and 153rd Street
  10. Resume Walking across Macomb’s Dam Bridge into The Bronx
  11. Walk to and turn Right at 161st Street
  12. Brief Stop to Regroup on 161 st Street across from Yankee Stadium
  13. Resume walking on 161 st Street to the Grand Concourse and turn Right onto the steps of the Bronx Supreme Court
    (Approx. 0.6 mile from MD Bridge to the Bx Supreme Court)

Stopping in front of The Bronx Supreme Court for approx. 35mins for Speakers and lunch.
Water and choice of a cheese, ham or turkey sandwich will be provided.

12:30 PM Sharp Walking Resumes
  1. Resume walking South on Grand Concourse
  2. Stop at 780 Grand Concourse for a Moment of Silence for NYPD Officer Arianna Reyes-Gomez
  3. Resume Walking on Grand Concourse to 149 th Street (Hostos Community College)
  4. Turn Left onto East 149th Street
  5. Brief Stop to Regroup on 149th Street and Morris Ave in front of Lincoln Hospital
  6. Resume walking on 149 th Street to Third Avenue
  7. Turn Right at and walk on Third Ave to 139th Street
  8. Turn Right at 139th Street, cross Morris Ave, turn Left and walk to 135th Street
  9. Brief Stop to Regroup at 135th Street
    (Approx. 1.7 miles from 161 st Bx)
  10. Resume walking across Third Ave Bridge, up & over the walkway, cross Lexington onto 129th Street
  11. Brief Stop to Regroup on 129th Street btwn Lexington & Park Ave
  12. Continue walking on West 129th Street to Park Ave, turn Left on Park Ave
  13. Walk South on Park Ave and turn Right to 125 th Street
  14. Walk on 125 th St. to the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building Plaza on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard
    (Approx. 1.4 miles from the 3 rd Ave Bridge to here)

Stopping for approx. 10mins for a Stop Domestic Violence rally hosted by W.A.R.M.

Walking Resumes
  1. Resume walking by crossing 125 th at Adam Clayton Powell, turn Left back onto 125th
  2. Walk East on 125th St to Lexington Ave
  3. Brief Stop to Regroup on 125th Street and Park Ave
  4. Resume walking on 125th Street to Lexington Ave and Turn Right onto Lexington South on Lexington to 116th Street (From the State Building to here is approx. 0.7 miles)
  5. Brief Stop to Regroup on Lexington & 116th Street
  6. Resume walking on Lexington to 106th Street, and into the Julia de Burgos Cultural Center.

Total Walk: Approximately 7 miles

The 2024 Closing Ceremony will be held at the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center, 1680 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10029 (corner of 106th Street). The Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin at approx. 5 PM and will conclude by 6 PM.

Once at the Julia de Burgos Center, the marchers will have approx. 20 minutes for a bathroom break, get food and water before the Closing Ceremony where there will be tributes to victims, guest speakers, and acknowledgment of participants. (The estimated time for the start of the Closing will be announced on or about early September.)

*Dresses and signs will be collected at the Closing.
